Portable XMind is a software application which enables people to easily create an array of minds maps and log brainstorming sessions.

A simple BASH script to install XMind on Debian/Ubuntu 32/64 bit, include Launcher, MIME type link and icon. Change to the user you want to install; Download XMind from XMind Official Website; Download this repository; Unzip XMind-Linux-Installer-master.zip and put xmind-8-update.-linux.zip file in XMind-Linux-Installer-master directory.

This utility does not require installation, as it represents the portable counterpart of XMind. Also, it means that the Windows registry and Start menu/screen are not going to get updated with new entries.

Aside from that, you can drop the program files to any location on the hard disk or to a portable storage unit, such as a USB flash drive, so as to easily run Portable XMind from there, by clicking the executable. The latter also enables you to use the app on any computer you have access to.
